Job Description

We are now looking for an engaged leader for our Landscape and Planning section.

AFRY is a significant player in design and technical solutions for buildings and infrastructure. In our societal development assignments, we work to create sustainable environments where people can live, work, and thrive over time.

Our projects cover the entire process, from early investigations, analyses, and concepts to the design and engineering of urban spaces, parks, residential and business environments, schools, preschools, and infrastructure. We also work with visualizations and provide support for the monitoring and maintenance of facilities.

We are a curious and engaged team within planning and landscape architecture, with a strong drive for sustainability and design issues. Through close collaboration with other engineering and design competencies within AFRY, we create holistic solutions and tackle the challenges that tomorrow's cities face.

Knowledge exchange is a natural part of our work, and we actively participate in seminars, forums, and networks to both learn and share our experiences.

As Section Manager, you will have a role with great variation, opportunities for many contacts and customer meetings, and responsibility for achieving successful and sustainable business outcomes. You are responsible for the entire section's operations, including strategies, profitability, marketing, quality, personnel, and competence development. You combine your leadership role with working operationally on assignments yourself.

You report to the Regional Manager and sit on the regional management team.

Qualifications

You are a trained landscape architect, and we would appreciate it if you have broad experience and have developed your own network within the industry.

You have previously demonstrated good leadership skills in a managerial role and can naturally engage and motivate others.

As a person, you are result-oriented, responsible, and flexible, and good at listening to your surroundings. You have previously demonstrated good leadership skills in a managerial role and can naturally engage and motivate others.

For this role, you need to enjoy building relationships. You have likely in previous roles demonstrated good leadership by engaging and motivating others.

As we are an international company, good knowledge of Swedish and English is required, both orally and in writing.
